History

LBG Milan was born way back in 1996 in the Politecnico di Milano. Thanks to hard work and organized activities our group has grown in membership since then.

The number of active members can vary. Currently, our LBG has around 30 active members, all volunteers.

In the  last 10 years we have organized various activities, always with same goal: offering students opportunity to develop and to create a comfortable professional academic environment in which students can feel at ease.

iBEC is the first significant national project we have been involved in and which we feel sure will soon be adopted by all Italian universities.

University

The Local BEST Group of Milan office is located in the ISU of the Politecnico di Milano, via Golgi, 40.

The Politecnico di Milano was founded in 1838 and, according to recent statistics, has a current population of circa 49,000 students.

There are Faculties of Engineering, Architecture and Design including 24,000, 10,500 and 4,500 students respectively.

The university has 1,271 lecturers and researcher, and about 1,000 people working as technicians and administrative staff.
