History

On 1st April 1994 in the classrooms of the Sapienza University of Rome, through the commitment of some students, the group BEST Rome was born. In recent years the group has fostered and developed a tradition based mainly on friendship, which has contributed to a rapid growth. Currently BEST Rome boasts the presence of 30 members who strive to maintain and impart that original influential spirit.

The group has established firm relationships with several companies, including McKinsey and Accenture, which have contributed to the growth of the name of association inside the Faculty: BEST Rome has undertaken to establish a privileged channel of communication between such companies and students / graduates.

Faculty

The BEST Local Group of Rome has its headquarters in the Faculty of Engineering of Sapienza University of Rome, one of the largest universities in Europe with about 150,000 students. The Faculty of Engineering is among those at the forefront of Robotics and commonly participates in world wide competitions.

Another important area of research is that of Pollution Analysis. The Faculty has also participated in some space missions and is still in possession of a satellite in orbit for educational purposes.
